On the afternoon of September 9th, Cai Zhili, President of the Singapore Artificial Intelligence Education Association, Fang Lyu, Vice President, and the delegation including Li Jiafang, Zhang Xinzheng, and Zhao Kechen, visited Hefei No. 7 Middle School for exchange. Zhang Yuan, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Hefei Education Bureau, accompanied the visit. Hu Chen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hefei No. 7 Middle School, Liang Changbo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Principal, Liu Xianqun and Wang Xi, Members of the Party Committee and Vice Principals, and other relevant personnel warmly received them.
International exchange and cooperation are a major trend in the global education field at present, and resource sharing and complementary advantages are even more effective ways to improve the level of school running and expand the pattern of school running. The delegation visited venues such as the Science and Innovation Club Activity Room and the Digital Geography Laboratory, and learned about the distinctive measures of Hefei No. 7 Middle School in school culture, curriculum construction, the development of science and innovation club activities, and the cultivation of innovative talents.
The delegation visited the Sunshine Youth Growth Center, the Life Experience Center, and the Network Security Education Center, and spoke highly of the achievements made by Hefei No. 7 Middle School in its “four-in-one” mental health education model and the application of intelligent education.
In Room 201 of the Administration Building, Liang Changbo gave an exchange and sharing session on artificial intelligence education work entitled “Leading by Technology to Showcase Characteristics, Integrating Innovation to Write a Brilliant Chapter”. He elaborated on the exploration and application of Hefei No. 7 Middle School in artificial intelligence education from three parts: the design of the artificial intelligence system of Hefei No. 7 Middle School, the distinctive measures for cultivating scientific and technological talents, and the implementation of science and technology education.
Cai Zhili commented on the campus environment and educational philosophy of Hefei No. 7 Middle School with the phrase “Enjoy being here, enjoy being at No. 7 Middle School” and highly affirmed the fruitful achievements of Hefei No. 7 Middle School in artificial intelligence education.
Lawyer Fang stated that he looks forward to joining hands with No. 7 Middle School to jointly explore and develop language teaching auxiliary tools, and achieve the collaborative development of both parties in the field of artificial intelligence education.
Liang Changbo hopes that the Singapore Artificial Intelligence Education Association will build an exchange platform between Hefei No. 7 Middle School and Singaporean schools, and explore the creation of a real environment for language learning.
Hu Chen pointed out that both parties can explore deeper-level educational cooperation, establish comprehensive cooperative relations with local schools in Singapore, and promote exchanges between the two sides in teaching, teaching research and other aspects.
