To foster diverse exchanges in basic education, vocational education and STEM education between China and Singapore, and build a platform for cross‑border educational mutual learning, ARAILL invited an expert delegation from RP to visit Anhui for a series of China‑Singapore educational exchange programmes. The mission included site visits to distinctive educational institutions and leading‑edge tech enterprises, alongside on‑campus public outreach lectures to advance education internationalisation on multiple fronts. As a key deliverable under the deep strategic cooperation framework between ARAILL and RP, this visit boosted practical educational collaboration between both sides.

The delegation conducted official discussions with the Anhui Provincial Department of Education. Both parties held dialogues on AI‑empowered education development and tangible China‑Singapore educational cooperation. They exchanged views on digital education development, joint STEM talent development, staff‑student exchange initiatives, and the roll‑out of cross‑border study missions. These discussions laid a solid groundwork for educational resource sharing and project collaboration between Anhui and Singapore.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited four distinguished institutions: Hefei Luyang Senior High School, Hefei No. 2 High School, Anhui Business and Technology College and Huainan No. 1 High School. Covering both basic and vocational education sectors, the visits spanned aesthetic education, sports‑education integration, intelligent manufacturing and international‑oriented talent development. Through immersive site visits, the team examined differences and strengths in educational practices and talent nurturing across both regions.
Multi‑school Visits | Appreciating Distinctive School Programmes
Visit to Hefei Luyang Senior High School
At Hefei Luyang Senior High School, the delegation toured the campus and observed sports training sessions, gaining first‑hand insights into the school’s sports‑education integration model. Members learnt about its educational philosophy — “Every student deserves an opportunity to shine in life”, as well as outcomes of holistic and quality‑oriented education. Both sides shared experiences on innovations in basic education.

Visit to Hefei No. 2 High School
At Hefei No. 2 High School, the delegation studied the school motto “Uphold Virtue, Cherish Beauty, Be Independent and Diligent”. The team experienced its strong heritage in aesthetic education, specialised arts programmes and smart campus implementation. The delegation commended its diverse, niche‑focused talent‑development approach.

Visit to Anhui Business and Technology College
At Anhui Business and Technology College, the delegation focused on the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Automotive. Members toured the on‑campus automotive exhibition hall and smart training workshops. They observed hands‑on training sessions for new‑energy vehicles and intelligent manufacturing. The delegation gained insights into the college’s talent‑development model built on industry‑education integration, college‑enterprise partnerships and skills‑focused training, and witnessed the strengths of practice‑driven vocational education closely aligned with industry demands

Visit to Huainan No. 1 High School
At Huainan No. 1 High School, the delegation took part in the school’s special “Encyclopedia Lecture” for dedicated international‑education engagement. School leaders, management staff and student representatives from the international class attended the session. Centred on nurturing global‑minded talents, experts unpacked educational differences between China and Singapore, Singapore’s distinctive education landscape, as well as RP’s curriculum structure and internship‑career pathways. They mapped out clear routes for students considering overseas further studies and global‑oriented growth. There was lively interaction. Students raised questions on academic improvement, competency building and overseas study planning, receiving targeted guidance from experts. The session helped broaden students’ global outlook and cultivate well‑rounded mindsets for growth.

Tech‑focused Study Mission | Advancing AI‑enabled Education
With the goal of driving innovation through AI in education, the delegation visited two major technology enterprises in Hefei to learn about cutting‑edge developments in digital education and STEM innovation.

Visit to iFLYTEK
At the iFLYTEK AI Exhibition Hall, the delegation experienced a full suite of smart‑education solutions. Team members trialled AI marking systems, witnessing large‑language‑model‑powered functions including subject‑wide automated marking, precise learning‑analytics, intelligent error tagging and personalised teaching support. They gained deep understanding of real‑world deployment of AI‑driven digital teaching in China, and explored pathways for deep integration of artificial intelligence into classroom instruction.

Visit to DeepinGenius
The delegation then called on DeepinGenius, a specialised robotics enterprise. Members watched live demonstrations of humanoid robots and learnt about the research‑and‑development principles, operational mechanics and real‑world use‑cases of embodied‑AI humanoid robots. Discussions covered new avenues to integrate robotics technology into K‑12 STEM programmes and vocational skills training, building practical reference points for future China‑Singapore STEM‑education cooperation.
