The finals of the 4th WeChat Mini Program Global Innovation Challenge and the Greater Bay Area AI Tech Festival concluded successfully in Shenzhen on 16-17 May 2026. The Association for Research on AI in Learning and Leadership (ARAILL) was officially named an Outstanding WeChat Mini Program Partner by Tencent WeChat. Recognised for its extensive outreach and landmark achievements in international AI education, ARAILL stood out as a prominent and influential international organisation at this global tech innovation event.
Ⅰ、Leading International Collaboration to Foster Youth AI Innovation
Hosted by the Tencent WeChat team, the competition served as a key highlight of the Greater Bay Area AI Tech Festival. Centred on AI coding practice and project-based learning, it spanned seven regional divisions including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and overseas territories. Open to students aged 6 to 18 worldwide, the contest received nearly 5,000 creative mini program entries. Works addressed real-life issues such as education, mental wellness, elderly care and accessible mobility, embodying youthful creativity and social responsibility through technology.
As the official organiser for Singapore, ARAILL took charge of the full event cycle from strategic planning, regional coordination to global promotion, building a solid platform for AI education exchanges between China and Singapore.
1：Overseeing Singapore regional rounds:ARAILL independently hosted local selection contests, engaging top local institutions including The Chinese High School and Raffles Girls’ School. It encouraged cross-border team collaboration between Singaporean and Chinese students, yielding high-quality AI projects with practical value and creative insights.
2:Driving high-level global education dialogue:As an international delegate at the Bay Area Global Principals Forum, ARAILL shared Singapore’s well-established AI education frameworks and advanced practices. It exchanged views with global educators and industry specialists on new benchmarks and approaches for youth AI literacy development.
3:Expanding local AI education ecosystem:The association successfully integrated WeChat AI education platforms into Singapore school curricula. It connected technological tools, academic courses, educator training and practical application scenarios, boosting innovative STEAM education across the nation.

The Outstanding Partner title is official recognition of ARAILL’s remarkable accomplishments in global AI literacy promotion, young talent cultivation, cross-border educational cooperation and international resource networking.
